Dana Cup No.1 was played for the first time in 1984 and is the biggest annual tourist event in Frederikshavn.

Dana Cup No.1 is a co-arrangement between the local club F.f.I and Dana Cup No.1 in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Since the start 6 727 teams from 91 nations have participated in Dana Cup No.1. Almost 130 000 participants from all over the world have visited Dana Cup No.1 and Frederikshavn.

Annually the tournament attracts about 10 000 visitors from all over the world.

July 11^th – 16^th 2011 the 28^th edition of Dana Cup No.1 is played.
